Tony Weatherill President & CEO

Mr. Weatherill is a seasoned executive with over three decades of experience in the global lubricants and petrochemicals sectors, most recently with H.F. Sinclair Corporation and Petro-Canada Lubricants. He has a proven track record of driving commercial success, operational excellence, and innovation across billion-dollar organizations. From 2020 to 2023, Mr. Weatherill served as Senior Vice President, Commercial, at H.F. Sinclair, leading commercial and marketing efforts for a $3.9 billion enterprise spanning over 90 countries, doubling global sales, and significantly enhancing EBITDA margins. Concurrently, as President of Petro-Canada Lubricants (2019–2023), he oversaw commercial strategy, global business development, a portfolio of globally recognized brands, and North America’s largest Group III base oil facility. Beyond his commercial leadership, Mr. Weatherill has cultivated extensive technical expertise and market insights through roles such as Vice President of Global Research and Development at Petro-Canada Lubricants and earlier positions at ExxonMobil and Chemtura.

Brad Kotush Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Kotush is an accomplished financial executive with nearly two decades experience in executive leadership roles, including extensive public-company experience spanning finance, risk, M&A, investor relations, and operations across Canada, the UK, and beyond. He was EVP and CFO of Home Capital Group Inc., (2017–2024), where he helped drive a 3.4x share price increase, $600M in market cap growth, and the return of $1.5B to shareholders through dividends and buybacks. He also led the team through a $1.7B privatization completed in August 2023. Previously, he served as EVP, CFO, and Chief Risk Officer at Canaccord Genuity Group Inc. (2006–2017), overseeing and financing $750M in domestic and international acquisitions, expanding operations from two to ten countries, and leading the dual listing on the AIM exchange and subsequent graduation to the London Stock Exchange. Mr. Kotush is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds the ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Tom Lawlor Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Lawlor brings over 25 years of experience in the upstream, midstream and downstream energy sectors. He has delivered major capital projects in North America, Europe and the Middle East. Prior to joining ReGen III, he held senior management positions at Ovintiv, Wood and Schlumberger. He has overseen P&L business operations, led large operations teams, managed joint ventures and spearheaded complex commercial negotiations. Tom is a registered professional engineer in the province of Alberta.

Kirk McNamara Base Oils Consultant

Mr. McNamara has nearly 20 years’ experience in commercial, strategy, and engineering roles in base oils, refining, and petrochemicals. As VP of Base Oils at Motiva Enterprises (Saudi Aramco’s 100%-owned subsidiary), he led a $2.5 billion business and drove significant EBITDA growth. His M&A work includes key roles in Saudi Aramco’s $2.7 billion acquisition of Valvoline and $69 billion SABIC acquisition. At ExxonMobil and UOP Honeywell, he boosted global technology market share from 55% to over 90%. Mr. McNamara brings expertise in strategic partnerships development, market growth, business transformation, and commercialization of technology, having raised over $180 million for key projects. Mr. McNamara holds an MBA from Northwestern, an MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois, and BS degrees in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Kimberly Hedlin Vice President, Corporate Finance

Ms. Hedlin brings 20 years of finance and capital markets experience, with a focus on energy and clean technologies. She previously served as Vice President, Equity Research, at Canaccord Genuity and spent nearly a decade in capital markets before working with growth companies in the areas of strategy, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, and corporate communications. Ms. Hedlin is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Great Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan.

Larry Van Hatten Lead Director

Mr. Van Hatten became a partner of Ernst & Young LLP in May 2005, leading its Vancouver assurance practice until announcing his retirement in June 2010. Prior to May 2005, Mr. Van Hatten was the managing partner of Ellis Foster, Chartered Accountants, a Vancouver-based firm that merged into Ernst & Young LLP in May 2005. Mr. Van Hatten’s practice focused on advisory services to the investment community.Mr. Van Hatten also served on the board of the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, which he chaired from 1996 to 1999. Mr. Van Hatten received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1975 and his Fellow Chartered Accountant designation in 2009. In 2010, he completed the academic requirements for the Directors Education Program.

Bob Rennie Director

As founder and executive director of Rennie Group, Mr. Rennie has redefined the business of real estate, offering specialized national and international marketing, data gathering intelligence information and technology services for over 40 years. Mr. Rennie is often recognized for his leadership in developing new and innovative strategies in risk management and marketing. Mr. Rennie brings strong social and philanthropic guidance to the Board. Mr. Rennie is the recipient of the Queen’s Diamond and Golden Jubilee awards, the Order of British Columbia and has a Doctorate from Emily Carr University.

Jose Salinas Director

Jose Luis Salinas Lanfranco is a Peruvian, British and Panamanian businessman. Mr. Salinas specializes in de-risking large-scale industrial and infrastructure projects be it through traditional tools such as contractual development, insurance; or through innovative mechanisms such as corporate engineering, financial vehicles, and layering; with the goal to deliver robust asset and financial protections. Mr. Salinas also has extensive business and corporate experience be it as an owner, shareholder, board director, advisor or consultant in a diverse range of public and private operations from mining to the energy and nuclear industries. Mr. Salinas speaks fluent English, Spanish and Portuguese. Mr. Salinas studied Law at Pontificia Universidad Catolica and holds two postgraduate degrees.

Brad White Director

Mr. White is a distinguished investment executive, with over 30 years of research and portfolio management experience. As the Co-founder of Salida Capital, a $1B+ alternative asset manager, Mr. White’s funds generated compound annual returns of over 30% until his departure to co-found EdgeHill Partners, a Toronto-based alternative asset management firm. Mr. White is currently an advisor of Blue Deer Capital Partners, a firm providing advisory services to mission-driven entrepreneurs across a variety of sectors. Mr. White is a CFA® charterholder and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the Memorial University of Newfoundland. He is also the benefactor of both the Embley Park Foundation, a private philanthropic organization, and the White Trading Lab at the Memorial University Business School.

Liam Gallacher Director

William (“Liam”) R. Gallacher is an experienced finance and capital markets professional with expertise in financial marketing, M&A, and governance within the oil, energy, and sustainability sectors. Liam currently serves as Vice President of Business Development at Cannonball Capital Inc., a single-family office, where he has oversight for global portfolio construction. Prior to this, in his capacity as a Board member, Mr. Gallacher contributed to fundraising and strategic initiatives at Revalesio Corporation and played a key role in the private equity buyout of Green Energy Services. Liam holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, and actively volunteers with the Calgary Hospice Foundation. Previously, he was President & CEO of the Lace’em Up Foundation for Kids.
